L’Associació Amics de Diakha Madina des de fa anys està impulsant projectes i fent arribar materials a zones rurals del Senegal, sovint oblidades pel seu govern, per tal d’afavorir i millorar les seves possibilitats escolars. I des de l’any 2000 ha impulsat un treball de cooperació de les escoles de Barcelona
